    Simple question really?

His last fight was against a naturally smaller fighter, Paul Williams although freakishly big is a naturaly smaller fighter, hes calling out Cotto, Pac, Mayweather and others. Yet he fought Pavlik a bigger guy.

I could understand why he wants to fight pac and floyd cuz of the money he could make. If he really wants to fight them then he should come down to 154. If he can't make 154 anymore then just stick to 160 and rematch pavlik. That could be a money maker for him this time around.

    Nah.

He knows time is not on his side, and he is trying to maximize his earning power.

Hey, you should know by now: If your name isn't Manny Pacquiao, you do not get credit from the masses.

Pavlik is 186 pounds right now, and looks like a beast. A rematch could only happen at 168, and Martinez does not have sufficient testicular girth to take that fight.

Maravilla isn't the one who had a rematch clause and gave it up.

WTF 186 damn, i guess it will be too hard for him to get down to 160. If that's the case then martinez has no choice but come down to 154 to get money fights. (cotto-margarito rematch-pac or mayweather).

Nobody cares about a rematch martinez beat pavlik straight up, pavlik needs to get his life on order and compete at 168, martinez needs to stick to 160 with maybe a 154 fight for cash

Right, so Martinez, a former welterweight, is afraid to fight a guy much bigger guy that he's already defeated, at a higher weight, despite the fact that the defeated fighter had a rematch clause that he didn't enforce?

Pavlik was smaller?, Williams was "naturally" smaller?, he made the weight and fought there previously so I don't know what excuse you're coming up with there, Cintron was smaller?

The guys he's calling out are the biggest names available and highest ranked P4P. He's 36 years old and wants to make some big money before his time runs out and now is his best chance or never. Common sense really.

Pavlik- Like i already said is a naturally bigger fighter.

Sergiy and Williams however are not naturally bigger, taller yes.

Im not bashing Martinez, i think hes brilliant. Im just asking the question to see what people think.
