He was very good as a fighter but anyone who has been dropped 27 times has a **** chin and anyone thats says different is on something.

I had a Yugoslav mate in Birmingham in the 90's. He was impressed that I knew who Benes was and we used to talk about him. Ziggy, my mate, told me he had a bar and restaurant but said the war wiped him out. Sad to hear he went through such a tough time.

    No. He was good, though.

Very short reign ended by brutal KO to Marvin Johnson.

Your first fail was calling Saad China Chinned. Lol.

Also, quality of chin doesn't have any correlation to punching power

But I give you a pass because English not your first language.

When he won the WBC Light Heavyweight Title from Miguel Cuello, from Argentina, I wanted to see him fight WBA Champion Victor Galindez, but after his showing against challenger, former champion John Conteh, England, I changed my mind. I thought that Conteh was robbed, it was in Parlov's hometown in Yugoslavia. During the post fight interview, he kept mispronouncing Galindez first name, he kept calling him, Victoria. I think that Victor would have destroyed him, later Marvin Johnson did on Dec 2 1978.

Anyone who thinks being stopped 9 times in181 fights, 4 of them when he was 38 or over[in 2 he was 40&41]another 2 months after being stabbed in the heart, means a fighter wasn't durable needs to do some research about the man he is taking the **** out of.

Note Sam Langford was dropped 22 times that are on record how many more times is lost to posterity.

Ezzard Charles? He was dropped 33 times, but saying he has a weak chin is straight up wrong.

I could not believe my eyes, I scored it for John Conteh, his punches were crisper and his left jab was on target,as well as his straight right. I saw this fight on The CBS Sports Spectacular, Live.

Strangely enough, all of us who have commented on that decision watched it live and I don't think we've seen it since. When a bad call sticks in your mind for over 40 years you know it's a shocker.
