Is Matthyse getting Exposed against Peterson?

Matthysse is definitely overhyped. He is not able to dominate vs higher level opponents. He gets more praise than Garcia whom viciously ko'd Khan, Morales amd gave a very game Judah a vicious beating. Will he be exposed by Peterson? Yes because he wont live up to the hype and dominate Peterson like many are sayong he will. I could see Matthysse hurting Peterson, maybe even dropping him but Peterson always makes the adjustments and i think he'll put on a great performance and win this decisively.

Matthysse is over-hyped by some but he's clearly a very dangerous fighter. I scored both the Judah and Alexander fights for him, for whatever that's worth.

I think he's a bad match-up for Peterson. Lamont is a pressure fighter who likes to get inside, force the action and load up on his punches. While Matthysse doesn't have particularly fast hands, his power is natural and he doesn't have to load up - his shots flow easily and when they're on the inside, he's not going to have trouble landing.

I'm not sure Peterson can take that sort of heat. I think he'll be forced onto the back-foot where he's not particularly comfortable, or get stopped if he can't make the adjustment.

I think the hype for Lucas will actually increase after this one.

Can I just bring this up.. did anyone really think Peterson beat Whortiz? To me it was one of the worst decisions I've seen.

 

Peterson was getting destroyed until Ortiz decided to run away for whatever reason, I had Ortiz winning but Ortiz shouldnt even have gave up any rounds he should have stayed coming forward

 

Ortiz starting running away because he's a mental midget, but still that was a case of Haymon calling favors in.

 

Lamont is going to get ****ed so hard them pills are going to pop right out of his ass.

Lamont will land his biggest left hook trying to keep Lucas off him and Lucas will smile

 

I thought Ortiz won but he worked hard to give it away. He and Khan showed that you can get to Peterson early though, which could be bad news against Matthysse.
