RJJ and Tarver are borderline ******ed. I like their insight during the fight, but they are boxers commenting on boxing. They should have plenty to say. You never hear them making historical references or interviewing fighters well. I'd say Foreman is better than both of them. Max seems very unbiased to me, he asks the tough questions, knows the history of the sport, very articulate, and affable. I like Teddy Atlas, but he just isn't nearly as good at explaining things.
1:03. The guy doesn't know the 10-point must system. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsA0hreQAWI"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsA0hreQAWI[/ame]
This doesn't even make sense. I find it hard to believe an illiterate ****** is capable of making an accurate assessment of a commentators ability.
I wouldn't say he's terrible but I agree on Tarver. He's probably the best boxer/commentator/analyst since Czyz.
Tarver is great during the fight, but he isn't capable of doing an interview, and like most boxers, he's not very good at praising fighters. Him being stupid doesn't help.
I like Max, he just gets over excited sometimes and tries to hard to sell the idea that we are watching the best fight ever sometimes. Listen to Max in Kirkland vs Angulo to see what I mean.
