Surely booking on May 5th without consulting Pac was Mayweather's way of pre-emptively ducking.

Mayweather knows very well that dates are NEGOTIATED and the camp wouldn't bow down to his endless demands.

If Mayweather goes into jail in JUNE, then what is wrong with the END OF MAY that Pac's camp is asking for? It might be a bluff, but it is Mayweather's to call.

May 5th is Mexico Day, Mayweather likely anticipated Pac's team wouldn't allow him to dictate dates, so he chose this date in anticipation of figthing Guerrero or Canelo.

TLDR - Pac's camp requesting end of may, may well be a bluff. But it's Mayweather's to call.

How is booking the most lucrative date of the year at the most lucrative arena a duck?

You obviously didn't read my post. Wait until class finishes so you can give it a more critical look over.

    Cheers

Whats wrong with May 5th if Pacquiao's cut is fine? Wasn't Arum saying a fight with JMM on that date was fine??

It's the principle of letting Floyd dictate the terms. It's a mind game more than anything on Floyd's part.

Basically they would prefer a negotiation and have offered a different date. They don't wanna look like Floyd's *****. I'm not a 'follower' of either and wanna see the fight just happen. But I do think if Mayweather refuses to fight on the date that is offered by Pacquaio's camp it's Mayweather that's holding the fight back.

Why should Floyd move from May 5th?

Yeah, I agree. And there seems to be little reason for him to refuse a pretty open date (some time at the end of may). If he refuses, then he is the one stopping the fight from happening. Maybe not a duck as you said.

the arguing over a few weeks is ******ed, fight on May 5th. I was on Pac's side but now it's ridiculous, arum and pac are morons (jmm is a bad style match up for Pac, he will never look good against him unless he gets a lucky ko). Of course, Floyd got more vocal when he thought Pac is on the decline after two pretty poor showings in a row, but to kill 100s of millions over three weeks and a venue is beyond mongoloid, it smacks of nonsense.

Floyd needs a few weeks time to recover before he fends off the rapists. In case Pac hits him a few times.
