Nah, he's not boring, he's to blink and you miss it for that. And you've got to remember that fighting at 154 was way, way out of his size range really - or the roof, if nothing else. He sure as **** wasn't boring against Hatton, when he opens up he is something to behold. And I really liked the De La Hoya fight and was looking forward to 2.
Nah... He had some boring fights like Goyo Vargas, Jose Luis Castillo 2, Carlos Baldomir....but he wasn't consistently boring. He had some good fights like Jesus Chavez, Emanuel Augustus, Jose Luis Castillo I, Chop Chop Corley, and some beatdowns that were fun to watch like Philip Ndou, Arturo Gatti, Carlos Gerena, and Diego Corrales.
boring in the sense that he doesn't show the world how long can he stand even getting hit like PACMAN. i really like fighter like pacman and tyson they are great and have great heart
He had more exciting fights than boring ones. He is so skilled and i loved watching him dominate opponents. When Floyd wanted to be offensive and throw combinations you can not ask for anything better. Like the guy above me said i didnt see him boring against Corley, Ndou, Corrales, Gatti, Judah, Hatton etc.
Some of his fights are better than others. I wouldn't say he's boring, I enjoy watching him if I'm in a certain mood. Generally isn't top of my list though, its more of an appreciative enjoyment than heart racing
Sometimes....but most of the time he's an amazing fighter and fun to watch if you know what you are seeing. Some of his amazing feats happen in a very subtle way that most can't appreciate.....and then there are things that he does that are the meaning of the term FLASHY that everyone can appreciate. He isn't a boring fighter but sometimes when he's in there with someone on his level he doens't want to take chances and makes it a boring event.
If you're bored by technical brilliance and pugilistic purity then yes he's pretty damn boring. Me personally, I'd rather watch a 12 round PBF masterclass than a 3 round haymaker fest with one bum landing a lucky shot on another bum. To each his own.
