Your thread title is misleading in that case. A fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather is still the biggest fight in boxing in my opinion.

Definately not. May v Pac would have broken all records regardless of what the undercards were.

If Mayweather/Pac had happened back when it should have (about 2010) it would have been the biggest fight for at least 20 years.

Mayweather/Alvarez is probably the biggest fight right now but nowhere near as big as Mayweather/Pac would have been.

PAC v Floyd after PAC had destroyed Cotto would have been a global mega event. Right up there with Ali v Frazier I

Floyd vs Pac would have been the biggest fight of this era. It's a fight everyone wanted to see (not just hardcore boxing fans). Neither Pac nor Floyd's legacy will ever be complete because of their failure to square off in the ring.

NOW? Yes it is. No one wants to see Floys v Pac right now. Pac would have to beat Rios, JMM, and Bradely for that fight to be appealing again but by that time they would be old as hell.

They should have just fought in 09-11 smh biggest screw up in recent Boxing History.

Pac vs Mayweather was going to be the BIGGEST fight in the HISTORY of boxing! It was going to be one fight that was going to last for the ages that will be difficult to top in terms of PPV's. Canelo vs Mayweather WILL do big numbers, though, just not as great as Pac vs Catchweather would have done.
