Not good foot work ?? Anyone who knows anything about Jones knows is that his legs are what made him a freak ..MW wouldn't exploit jack if anything Jones would of been the one exploiding MW's defense in the same way he did to Toney and a prime Toney is as skill full as the best Mayweather ! And your Mosley compariosn is moot considering his age ,and his losses at this point ..Only a fool would have picked Mosley to KO MW !

Nope, not good footwork. He was sloppy, launching himself into opponents and taking himself out of balance. Now discussing his leg strength or foot speed is NOT the same as footwork. Floyd will most definitely outmanuver Jones with real footwork.

And comparing Toney to Mayweather is ridiculous. They were and are nothing alike and Floyd does not rely on his shoulder roll alone as Toney does.

Show me an example of Mayweather treating an opponent like this. This is super human.

Vinnie Pazienza was as good as Berto. Same handspeed as Berto at a higher weight, 4 time champion too.

Well sorry to disagree, its Jones foot work that basically had him untocuhed for almost a decade ..And whats rediculous about the Toney /Floyd comparison ? From a skill set they are about as smart and savvy with similar defenses ..And Jones picked a prime Toney apart .

.If an over the hill Oscar can give this version of Floyd fits Jones would of dropped him more than once ! His hand speed is about as fast if not faster with more pop ..Unless you can give me an example of Floyd out manuverig a fighter on Jones level (prime )your arguemnet is baseless!

Launching himself into his opponents was part of what gave Jones another level of offense. He could attack fighters from ranges where they thought they were safe, he gave them little to no time to react because of his timing, unorthodox angles, along with foot speed. Knocking Jones because of this is like knocking Floyd for using the shoulder roll, or knocking Frazier for his wide left hook.

Some things are just very unique in the boxing world. When we see them, we should just appreciate them for what they are as fans of the game. Floyd has a supremely refined defense along with the speed and accuracy to pot shot.

Just remember, who the better pot shot fighter was. He was faster, more powerful, more agile with reflexes as good as anyone's in his prime. Jones was putting people to sleep, and breaking peoples ribs with his pot shots.

Look at this. No boxer in the history of boxing had better footwork. His footwork was as amazing as his handspeed. In fact I've never seen another boxer completely destroy and humiliate someone the way Jones does in these videos.

If you think any boxer is better show the video. You think sweet pea is better? Show it.

Dude he was almost knocked down in the second a few times it wasnt a shut out, And comparing a 38 year old fighter who has recently lost to Cotto as well as needing a miracle punch in the 12th against vargas and basicaly has only beat Margacheato with out his loaded gloves :huh
Comparing that to a prime toney is just nuts.

Also you really think a prime Jones would of let a bloated 35 year old fighter who travelled up 3 weight classes to fight him survive the whole fight ? As well as the Mosely of last nite woulda been ko'd by jones bad not taken 12 for a decision...
