Yes, I think so. But I still like watching Jones more, and I like his personality more.

Mayweather is better p4p than Jones. Jones was more exciting and had more of a mystique surrounding him in his prime but skill for skill, he is not as complete a fighter as Mayweather.

As to who would win if they were the same size, I'd have to go with Floyd although it would be quite a dramatic fight.

Watching Jones Jr, you thought he was invincible. You just felt he was too fast and hit too hard. Going into the fight, you always thought he had it in the bag. However, when you look at the film , he makes plenty of mistakes, mistakes that few could capitalize on because of his amazing handpseed and power.

Watching Mayweather Jr., he doesn't seem invincible. Going into the fight, you could envision his opponent possibly outmuscling him, or overpowering him. However, as the fight unfolds, you see just how hopeless his opponent is. When you review the tapes, you see just how technically brilliant he is. The guy makes very few mistakes.

So who's better? I'm not sure about that. They both were/are equally effective in the ring. However, I believe Mayweather is better suited to fight at a high level when he's past his prime.

    Jones, Jr.

He handled two very skilled fighters in Toney and Hopkins very well. Won convincingly.

Mayweather looked legit and impressive against a physical and strong Mosley, but I am not so sure if he can handle someone like Jones.

This isn't even up for debate. Mayweather is streets ahead of Glass Jaw Jones. The punches Mayweather ate from Mosley would have sent Roy Jones to the canvas in an instant, Shattering his fragile Glass Mandible all over the place.

In fact, I'll go further. A pawed range-finder jab from Carlos Baldomir would have obliterated Jones' utterly disgraceful Chin.:lol::rofl:rofl
