Mayweather has fought past 147 3 times already, who care what u think. Floyd can take care of himself.

Cotto by KO, go $2000 on it. Martinez keeps his hands down way to much to stop a bull from coming at you. If Martinez had any defense then i could belief that statement but hes been down plenty of times, Cotto will drop him also

Cotto will get knocked out by Martinez next. Golovkin would also knock Cotto, even Alvarez...........

Yeah I can see this fight happening IF Cotto beats Sergio and grabs that WBC MW title. This fight would make a lot of sense especially for Floyd's legacy. I think they would do it @ 156 lbs cw or something like that.

That would be super weak and cowardly on Mayweather's part. For one the only reason Cotto would ever beat Martinez is because Martinez has a bad knee and could be done already. And two, everyone knows GGG is the best middle weight right now, and Martinez is refusing to pass the torch.

If GGG gets his shot at Martinez then beats him Floyd will never become mw champion, ever...

I would rather see Middleweights fighting Middleweights honestly.

As far as what FMJ should or shouldnt do, I cant say I care much either way. I dont consider myself a fan or a hater, but if he or any boxer wanted to put on airs of being a champion of a weight class I think they need to fight at that weight class. Not that I see FMJ looking for a Cotto rematch at anything approaching MW should Cotto win, unless Martinez was completely shot and Cotto looks soft.

I do think if Cotto wins, he would fight the other MW title holders. Martinez came up from 154 and became MW champ at 35. Cotto only 33. Martinez turned out to be as legit a champ as anyone , I think if Cotto pulls the upset he will try and do the same.

Boxing is a business and Cotto is a big name / draw, so I don't see any problem in making Floyd vs Cotto II for the WBC MW title, of course IF Cotto clearly beats Martinez.

My biggest concern about the Martinez - Cotto fight has to do with the crooked / controversial decisions from this sport.

p.s if Martinez wins the fight with Cotto I don't think Floyd would fight him even @ 155 - 156 lbs cw mostly because of the SHO / HBO issue but ...... who knows.

Cotto is Martinez big money tune up for GGG, Cotto cant punch at 154 never mind 160. If big punching middleweights like Pavlik & Chavez Jr couldnt knock Martinez out how the **** do you expect Cotto to?

Keep your money, don't bet on Cotto.

Cotto won't beat Sergio. He's there just for the payday. Even Alvarez would beat Cotto.

Coto just Mad Mayweather bleed and KO his last Opponet. Are u saying Cotto cant because Martinez has great defense....BECAUSE HE HAS NONE!! The Boy keep his hands down more then Tina when Ike was swinging, thats why Cotto has a chance.

Pavilk and Chavez jr are garbage skils wise compared to Cotto, both slow as hell too. Martinez is not that big, people thinking like Cotto is fighting GGG. That fight would be trouble but Martinez has been down plenty of times, dont see why Cotto couldnt.

At MSG on the eve of Puerto Rican day parade with a chance at history!?!?! Hes not losing that fight bro, man its gonna be a good summer in 2014 :bbb:bbb:happy:happy
