Floyd has always been the same trash talking his entire career. He often has little good to say about opponents and lives a flashy lifestyle surrounded by the “money team”, his fiddy 50 Cent and an over-sized security team. He has worked for what he has and deserves to do as he pleases, even if that is gambling his vast fortune. Although in the ring he is undoubtedly one of the greatest ever, why is his personal life so out of control at times? He is facing time behind bars come June 1st on a battery charge.

Is it the people that he surrounds himself with? Has he mixed with the wrong crowd? So my

you must not have realized this, hes black that plays a big part in regardless of what people may think. these white folks out here dont ever want black people to reach the plateau of wealth/status that they have. ill give you examples, 50 cent white people hate him, TI, tupac, tyson. we as back males are always being watched. not sayin mayweather should ge off either he shouldnt he needs to be held accountable just like the rest of us but his mouth and money put a huge target on his back.

hes great for boxing, boxing needs a bad guy just like NBA needed lebron. someone hasta to be blamed for ****

hes revived PPV boxing on a world stage and Pacquiao is living off of his momentum by fighting the same opponents immediately afterwards.

Everyone has been very nice and responded to your question in a direct way. Let me be the first to call you the **** smoking gaylord that you are.

If you're so concerned about an athlete that is featured in a ppv only once a year for the most part, then you're way too concerned with what a part-time boxer has to say.

Maybe you should focus your attention on some full time fighters. They participate in this sport called "boxing". Check it out, you might like it.

He's great for boxing inside the ring and out.

Inside the ring should go without saying. Outside the ring he is the bad guy. He kept boxing relevant and even people who may have never watched him fight once know who he is. His ppv sales say it all, his haters want to see him just as much or even more than his true fans.

So I don't dislike Mayweather because he acts like a giant douche? I hate him because he's black? And I don't like 50cent music, not because his flow sounds like he has a mild form of ******ation, uses fairly standard and uncreative metaphors and is a bad actor, but because he's a black man? Thanks.

Look, I'm not saying racism doesn't exist, I'm saying that some people don't like May because he acts like dick. And by the way, since he's made it clear that that is his actual goal then really, it seems like your argument is a little forced. He claims he acts like an ass to get attention, but the attention is negative, which is what he asked for in the first place. btw, that's not why I don't like him, I think if he's actually an ******* then I'd like him more, but I hate the disingenuousness that his 'Money May' persona entails.

As far as it goes I think he's bad for boxing. A) he only fights like once a year. B) the people he 'dupes' into watching his fights don't become boxing fans, but they might become boxing haters.
