I never said she tested positive. I said USADA initiated the investigation that eventually caught her and saw her go to jail and be stripped of her Olympic medals.

USADA got sent a THG sample from Jones' former coach and sent it to one of their affiliated scientists, Don Catlin, at UCLA to develop a test for it. Catlin was in charge of testing at Atlanta and various other US Olympics and very much a part of the US Olympic testing community. To say USADA did not help in the discovery of THG would be utterly stupid.

Fact is, Catlin himself and many others have developed tests in the past 11+ years that did not exist when Jones was competing and using PEDs. To use her to try and discredit the practice of 2012 USADA is idiotic.
