Is Mayweather Maidana the most obvious fixed fight of all time?

There is one thing anyone with a brain can admit to, that Kenny Bayless is an idiot, and was obviously paid off, something even the Showtime broadcast team admitted to. Now this alone doesn't necessarily indicate a fight is corrupt, but once you look at Maidana's performance it becomes much more clear.

His whole strategy was to come in lighter, throw more punches, and pressure him more. Yet the first thing he does in the 1st round is back up, and throw like 10 punches per round???! This is before Mayweather starts "moving"

Now not only is he's obviously being screwed by the ref during the fight, but he or his corner doesn't even care.

I'm glad he made like 3 million plus however million Floyd's camp paid him to lose, but in my 10 years of watching boxing, that was the worst fight I have ever seen. Especially considering it featured "TBE" and cost 80 ****ing dollars!! It was a disgrace, and I have never been more sure in my life that boxing is absolutely corrupt and a fight was fixed.

Even the judges were in on the fix, despite the fact I had Maidana easily winning the first fight 7 to 5, some judge this time had it like 115-112!!! Maidana won like 2 rounds at best

honest question: why do you think floyd would even need to pay off bayless (one of if not the most respected current working refs in the game) when he allready beat maidana in a fight where week let him get away with so much dirty **** including blatent muay thai knees ?

sorry mate it dont add up and i dont think bayless was that bad at all... im honestly stunned at how far this is going

Whats with this new trend of calling so many fights "fixed"?
A fixed fight is the hardest thing to sell, so why bother with it?

Judges can be manipulated but buying off other fighters? :bart

first of all I was positive Floyd is so good that he wouldn't need to pay of Bayless. Maidana put on a once in a life time performance, like Mike Tyson said, and Maidana in my mind he easily won 7 to 5. However I knew for certain Mayweather is too good to lose again and was positive he would win.

So it was truly upsetting to see that he actually paid off Bayless. Now if you truly believe Bayless wasn't paid off you are either a moron or a biased nut-hugger. And despite the hilarious sound clip from the Legend Mauro Renallo, Maidana didn't even come close to landing any knee in the first fight.

So let me get this straight. Your saying the biggest fight of all time is about to happen, one that can generate near a billion dollars. And it's too much of a stretch to imagine some poor uneducated guy from Argentina would take millions of dollars to purposefully lose a fight?

This isn't some amateur level fight, this is the biggest money making fight in boxing and the most money Maidana will ever make in his life.

Now it's obvious that Bayless was paid off, so if that is true it is even more likely that Maidana was, and he would be given even more money.

Despite how naive you may be a billion dollar fight is greater > anything in boxing history. Now while it's obvious PAC vs Mayweather is about to be made, it is shocking how obvious they made the fix Maidana Mayweather fix like they didn't even care, or attempt to make it believable.

Floyd stays in the pocket: His legs are gone, he barely won

Floyd moves: He ran all night, ref was paid off.

Ok I was Exaggerating for emphasis. But the Canelo Mayweather fight made well over 200 million. Is it that hard to believe the most anticipated and biggest fight in boxing history can generate near 500 million? Keep in mind how big the asian market would be after all Pac's fights in Macau and China.

maidana wasn't bought off, he's just a limited idiot as far as boxing. bayliss should've penalized floyd for all the holding. he was in floyd's pocket. wilder-scott was one of the most obvious fixed fights.

But why fix it? Especially in Floyds favour?

Bayless was as bias as they come on Saturday ..And the point deduction was uncalled for ..And breaking them up every time they clinched even when Maidana had a free hand smelled straight up like corruption .. A blind man could have saw that!

I'm not a Mayweather fan but I don't believe the fight was fixed.

Just because a fighter says that he will do something in a fight, it doesn't necessarily mean that's going to happen. Floyd said he would knock Maidana out - that didn't happen. So then maybe Floyd paid off the referee, Floyd also paid off Maidana and Maidana paid off Floyd not to knock him out.

Yes Kenny Bayless could have done a better job, but it's not the first time a referee hasn't done well.

Who knows? It may have been fixed. You'll never know, I'll never know, so let it go and sleep easy.

So hang on, the ref breaks them up constantly and its all Floyds fault and people here get twisty about it, yet when some fans suggest the same thing happened in the Floyd/Hatton fight its just'Butthurt Brits' moaning-even when most accept Floyd would have won regardelss of the ref? Right...

You guys are so pathetic, Maidana was never going to win the rematch as he simply wasnt good enough.

Real strange place is the General, people seem to dig through the trawls of clips and articles to create an angle for some odd agenda to either hate on Floyd, or Pac for that matter yet cant see what is staring them in the face.
