Is Mayweather really going to disgrace himself like this?

I think Mayweather V Khan, if in the UK would be excellent.

It would give boxing in the UK a really high mainstream profile - Could be in a 50 - 80'000 capacity stadium - Would be great to give UK and European fans the chance to see Floyd in the flesh.
With a massive home advantage Khan would make it interesting for a couple of rounds.

I really think if this fight is made it can only be good for boxing in general

Some of our middle-aged fans can be a little unforgiving when it comes to Mayweather's opponents, but as the OP highlighted, if the Khan fight went ahead then boxing may reach an all-time low in match-making.

A win against Devon Alexander would have given the fight at least 30/40% credibility. If there's no fight against Devon then the fight's officially a joke.

As others have said 10000 times but people like you keep repeating this crap. IT CANNOT HAPPEN IN THE UK. IT WOULD BE ILLEGAL

The Only reason Khan is even in the discussion for Mayweather, is because of the amount of discussion he generates on the Net.....So Irony is you are probably one of those who helped create the fight if it happens.....!

Ideally Khan would need atleast three creditable wins to earn this fight....but the Man generates a phenomenal amount of hate and passion on the social media so the amount of hype for this fight is gonna be extraordinary. Plus British press are amongst the best at generating hype.
