    As Rios, Bradley and Algieri?

Is Mayweather really going to bank on trying to catch Pacquiao coming in with a big right hand like JMM?

That has really been the gameplan of Pac's last 3 opponents since his KO loss to JMM, all 3 thought they could catch Pacquiao with the same shot, and i am starting to think Floyd might fall for this also and think he can do the same. Floyd knows his legs are as good as gone, and he knows he simply cant outpoint Pacquiao if he cant move for 12 rounds.

If Floyd does fall for it, and focuses too much on trying to set a trap to catch Pac with a big right hand, he will give away rounds, and Pac will win the fight.

I hope so I really hope Floyd comes into this fight thinking he can knock pac out and gets over confident trust me the lights will be shinning lighter than ever and Floyd has a ego as well he wants to show he is great he might fall for it

All the stuff about pac being shot and Floyd getting people saying he would beat pac easy will also make him believe it

I really doubt Floyd would actually try to go for that.

The chance of landing a perfect punch like that is incredibly slim, and Floyd isn't enough of a puncher to knock Manny out with a poor mans version of it.

Yes because Mayweather is clearly on the same level as Rios, Bradley and Algieri?

C'mon his way more smarter and skilled than all 3 put together.

Pacquiao is open for the right all day, Algieri was landing it with ease all night. That is Floyd's money punch, so with a little more power Floyd could give Pacquiao so issues. Floyd is a guy that will do what it takes to win, so I'm sure he will try to see if he can put some hurt on Pacquiao. If that doesn't work Floyd has plan A-Z and will switch and ajust on the fly. Floyd isn't Bradley or Algieri.

Stopped reading at big right hand...also can't believe you would even group Mayweather and those other 3 and wonder if he's going to make the same mistake as them as if they are on the same level

it has nothing to do with levels, i said will Floyd use the same gameplan as everyone else since Pac-Jmm 4?

Floyds legs are gone so he might try the same.

agreed but, the punch JMM landed was literally perfect. Never seen Floyd land anything similar.

Reminds me of Herol Graham vs JJ (julian)

Or more recently Lee vs JJ (john)

I get it but you are saying that Floyd could possibly employ the game plan of using a big right hand to catch Manny Pacquiao... What I'm saying is none of Floyd punches are big nor do he ever try to have a big punch even if he can hit hard. additionally to ask if Lloyd will use the same plan as in catching many with a big right hand makes for show up with (1) one dimensional plan. You know floyd will never come to a fight with one plan. You should know that unless you just started watching him, so no.

floyd has landed similar straight rights like that. The difference is his opponent wasn't throwing himself into the punch with both of his feet off the ground. Most recently was in the Maidana fight. The difference could also be the power between him and jmm

Wasn't there an article or video with Floyd saying that if JMM can knock him out it in 6 rounds, he could do it in 5? I think he's just trying to bring more drama to the fight but it does show he's thinking about going for a knock out.

Algieri was landing it with ease because Pacquiao didn't care to be hit with it. Algieri had no power. Couldnt hurt him. Similarly to when GGG was letting murray and every screamed, "GGG defense sucks!" No... He just went in and bullied him and was more open to take a punch to land a punch because Murray couldn't hurt him.

Pac has been eating right hands since he started boxing it was only the freak shot marquez landed that got him out

Pac chin has taken insane amounts of shots for nearly 70 fights I am surprised he hasn't been down more more and out more
