He's resume is amazing and he is an ATG, but he's just lacking that amazing win which would put him over the top, the Pacquiao fight. A win over Manny Pacquiao when he was at the top would have cemented his legacy completely.

It's also disputable whether he is the best in this era. He simply hasn't fought Manny Pacquiao, especially at his prime. Who knows if his style would have been difficult for him? You can't give Floyd the nod over Pacquiao through another fighter, Marquez thats BS.

We've all seen Marco Antonio Barrera beat Erik Morales and Erik Morales beat Manny Pacquiao. Does that mean Marco Antonio Barrera can beat Pacquiao? Nope.

Floyd probably is the best in this era, but whenever anyone talks about Floyd's career the lack of the Pacquiao fight will always be a criticism. This applies to Pacquiao too. They both needed each other when they were both the best.
