Cotto is a great fighter but I can't see any way of him beating Mayweather. Of course I am going to watch, as Cotto is one of my favourite fighters and the boxing skill in the ring is going to be amazing.

What I'm trying to say is that unless Mayweather is fighting Pac or Martinez I just cant get myself pumped up as I know it is going to be an easy wide decision win.

    Am I underestimating Cotto?

Yes you are underestimating Cotto. He's an elite fighter. He could definitely surprise us. I hope he does, although Floyd is rightfully the favourite.

It's going to be a great fight. Anything is possible.

    I believe Floyd is #1 p4p,no doubt.
But Floyd didn't look exactly unbeatable on his last Ortiz fight, actually, toward the end of the fight Ortiz was putting a lot of pressure on Floyd, its a shame the way the fight ended.
Cotto looked completely renovated on his Margo fight-who brings even more pressure than Ortiz, only slower on his feet-the way Cotto moved and boxed was amazing and that was just the beginning of his work alongside Diaz. They have kept working and have improved many areas that Cotto needs to improve. His sparring sessions have been amazing and his conditioning like never before.
Expect a very good fight-not a brawl,is not gonna be castillo vs corrales-expect a master piece between the best boxer of the last decade against a completely renovated HOF.

Cotto's getting destroyed. Anybody that can box and move will always look good against slow ass Cyclops Margarito. :yep

How come everybody calls Cotto an elite fighter? Is that the trademarked adjective? 'Elite'.

It was the same for Ortiz with 'young hungry lion'

Cotto is walking away with $8 million plus. Hopefully $10 million.
