Not a Mega-Fight. Mega-Fights have the intrigueing question of "who will win?" This fight has the intrigueing question of "can david beat goliath?" Just not the same.

I dont think it is because floyd is going to pick him apart. I dont see marquez be able to cause any real damage. I dont think he be able to hit floyd.. But that also depends if floyd is or isnt affected by such a long lay off. That remains to be seen. But i hope for a competitive fight i like both fighters. But i think Floyd's gonna take it.

Mega fight is when even non-boxing fans are interested in watching it. So no.

No, not at all. Marquez is a lightweight. Void refused to fight Pac, Cotto, Margarito and Mosely.

Without DLH or a charismatic Heavyweight on the scene I don't forsee any "mega-fights" in the near future. The only one the might come close to being labeled that is Pac/PBF but there's a good chance that it will lose some of its appeal should either of them lose their next match!

Void refused to fight Pac. Roach was very disappointed.

in the sense that i will surely find time to watch it live, yes it's a mega fight. it's a fight between two top fighters though there is a discrepancy in weight

This is not a megafight. if it were, fans casual and hardcore alike would be up in arms defending each others idol.

there would so much buzz, business generated and publicity. pro and cons will be thrown and brickbats. ticket sales would already indicate market reception. betting odds would be more even.

hence, this is not a megafight. an interesting fight at best. moving it to sept. 19 will marginally improve it i think but still will never be a megafight.

moving it to sept. 19 will only make jmm older by a year since he is turning 37 by august. moving the fight does not increase JMM height, weight, size. it just increases his age. :)

what if floyd suffers from some kind of injury and move the fight again (ticket sales still didn't do good)?.:rofl there's always a possibility that people might get pissed off considering the postponement and cancellations of fights that happened lately..

but i think it's a gamble they have to take in anyway, what else they have to do?.

it just increases his age.

that is undeniable my friend. moving it to sept. will just increase the age of jmm.

i hope jmm will be cured enough by that time. just like ham, you need to cook it and cure it. sept. 19, jmm will be ready for slicing by pbf.
