You didn't like that fight? Were you hoping Floyd would get beat up?

What up, Pimp. I don't think it's a mega fight simply because people outside of boxing and Mexico don't know Marquez...not to say it's not a great fight, though. A mega fight to me is a fight that draws in casual fans by the bunches...there aren't many of those going on at all. What people don't realize is that Floyd is the only person who has mega fight potential right now...Floyd vs Shane would be crazy...Floyd vs Cotto would be crazy, And Floyd vs Pac Man would be crazy...who else can have mega fights against three other opponents? Manny, maybe.

PBF vs Hatton was a 'good' fight and I was impressed with how well PBF handled Hatton considering the lead up and how entertaining it was in comparison to his two previous fights with Baldomir and Oscar.

If I had not seen the Baldomir fight I would have expected more from PBF in, at the time, the biggest fight of his career against Oscar. After watching PBF protect his investment against Baldomir I knew the Oscar fight would be relatively uneventful.. and it was.

We had quite a gathering for the PBF-Oscar (60-40 casual to boxing fans) and by the mid rounds all of the casual fans and half of the boxing fans had mentally tuned out of the fight. It wasn't boring to me but it certainly wasn't riveting entertainment thats for sure. I knew better than to 'expect' that from PBF so it was fine and still intriguing to see if Oscar can pressure him out of his gameplan. That fight was close because PBF let it be.. I have no doubt in my mind he could have put on just as dominating performance as Pacquaio did (dehydration or not) but that's not his make up as a fighter.

I watch PBF to be amazed by his skillful work not the drama of the action (which there is usually little). Luckily with fighters like Pacquaio, Mosley, Cotto, etc we get both and that is to be celebrated.

i was disappointed in floyd for not lettin his hands go more but overall it was aight. i appreciated floyds defensive skills.

pacquiao-hatton didnt have the same type of expectations son.. and both fights promised to be an actioned packed toe-to-toe battle... i wonder which one lived up to that expectation.

Understandable. I disagree that the Hatton fight was only a good fight though.

    Neither.

And I never expected it to be with Oscar-Floyd. If you did you are very blind.

Hatton-Pac was a one sided beat down. Not toe to toe.

Man, People know how Floyd fights...he picks his shots and then picks apart his opponents. The same way Victor Ortiz should have fought last week. You see where trying to brawl got his hot ass, don't you? **** that...he did what he did and knocked Ricky out like he was posed to.
