The man does a ridiculous amount of talking for someone who has done so little. The only good name on his record is Bakole, and if we are to believe @billy nelson Bakole was in no condition to fight. Aside from that, he has beaten fairly mediocre opponents like Kuzmin, and Ustinov who was in his forties. Since his draw with Povetkin (in which Povetkin was not awarded a legitimate knockdown), he's only beaten unheard of or journeyman opponents. On top of that he has drawn with Forrest and recently lost to some guy in what they were calling an exhibition but seemed like a real bout. Not a lot to merit all the smack talk he does at the ripe old age of 36
Well, he stopped Bakole, had a draw with Povetkin and had a decent fights before, so I suppose he can still talk about it.
Well I think Bakole should be given a chance to avenge himself even though he'd be punching way down in the rakings at this stage. Or give Hunter some lower-ranked-though-still-top-20 fighters ... Ajagba, or Hrgovic, or Sanchez, or Chisora, or Vianello, or Big Baby or Ruiz, or Huni.... just somebody, to keep active and to prove his win over Bakole wasn't a total fluke.
Let's see... Did well against Usyk & a green Bakole. Had a nice little window of prime then hit the roids and failed to make anything of himself. Then disappeared because he cant compete so now all he can do is talk trying to give himself props for what is effectively a failed career. Only thing he will ever be to the big boys was a decent sparring partner. All the Top 10 chin him. He should go after Joyce but he'd probably go life and death with him. Bakole KO's him in a rematch 100% and so would Usyk.
He maybe talking but nobodies listening, because he's been fighting nobodies for years now. He's become totally irrelevant which is a shame as at one point he looked like a good bottom of the top 10 type fighter who could beat the pretenders and give top fighters a decent fight.
When you are that fat everything looks like a low blow anyway because it all just becomes one big tub of ****.
People are being a little rough on the guy. He just beat Cassius Chaney, who is a fringe contender type, and got a ranking. He and Bakole shook hands on a rematch after the Anderson demolition, so we might see a last from from him yet. He should go to bridger.
