Yeah. First southpaw heavyweight champ. We also all know him for being on the losing end of the fight with Foreman. That makes him famous, and it's a hall of fame, not a hall of ATGs.

By the standards of the hall of fame, yes no doubt.

Close call IMO. Voted not sure.
He had some good wins, and some key losses too.

No his only really good win was Holyfield, with that said he's no worse or maybe even better than some that are already in.

No, he wasn't a great fighter and didn't beat enough quality opposition to warrant induction. If they induct a guy like Moorer it will end up being a real slippery slope. They would then have to induct a fighter like Chris Byrd who comparatively accomplished more than Moorer but doesn't deserve to get in either.

No, both not famous enough and doesn't have enough good wins to warrant it. Really he's only well know for losing to Foreman.

I'd say no but with some of the guys that are in there, who knows.

with thew new voting rules, the odds of guys like Moorer and John Ruiz getting inducted are higher.

Yes the guy could have been one of the greats but his move to heavy put an end to that.

I remember him most by getting knocked out by old Foreman.
