Is Mick Hennesey the worst promoter and should Froch leave him?

The undercard is absolutely wank, I'll be in the bar most of the time rather than watching the boxing.

Yeah i heard that John Murray and Hennesey fell out due to Murray not getting bigger fights. I agree with the lad, Hennesey is a useless pikey loving ginster munching gerbil faced wanker. His skills as a promoter are abysmal, it is no coincidence that all his fighters lurk in the shadow's of Frank Warren's.

As much as i cant stand Frank Warren he is good at promoting, Calzaghe was envied by Froch, Hatton was envied by Witter, Khan envied by Thaxton and Murray. And its no wonder cos Hennesey doesnt raise there profiles enough to get the lads more cash from fight and sponsors. Maloney is a can get sky t.v deal, warren gets t.v deals with itv, setanta and now sky, Heck even hatton and haye gets sky deals and they have not even been promoting long. 1 word to some up Hennesey is 'clueless' thoughts...

 

:good im with you pal, when i went to froch pascal i was guzzlin beer, i was only worried about my mate martin gethin fighting lawton, and froch pascal. I distinctly remember watching a welterweight fight with a 5.3 guy with a massive gut punch himself out after 1 round and i thought hennesey you tight *******, dip your hand in your pocket and pay some fighters to top up the card. The froch v dirrell fight undercad aint much better. God knows why murray vd thaxton and tyson fury vs mcdermott arnt on the card. Tv deal on sky box office would sell easier that way, instead hennesey resorting to some low rent alternative. **** sake.

 

You've raised some good points there mate.

I'm not a fan of Froch, but it does seem strange that Hennessy has struggled to get him a TV deal, especially considering the success of the Pascal fight on ITV and the fact that he's the WBC Champ going into such a big tournament like the Super Six.

 

In one repsect hes a **** promoter but in another sense he is a good promoter that doesnt feed his fighters like Frank Warren tomato cans for most of there careers.

Getting Eastman shots at Joppy and Hopkins in the States Froch fighting Taylor in the States, do you think **** head Warren would send any of his boys to the States in such hard fights would he ****!!

Hennesey is struggling to sell the 1 of the biggest british events of the year and participating in a ground breaking tournament that may change boxing match making in the future, have in mind amir khan sells on ppv fighting prescott and oisin ***an. Froch is wasted under hennesey, fact!
