With the change of trainer i was wondering if mick had been kept on by Hatton or has floyd snr got his own cutsman in?
Hope hes still there cause hes the best in the business and saved Hatton on a few occasions from stoppage defeats. Do any of you guys know?

Yeah, he is. Was mentioned on Sky Sports or Setanta News a couple of weeks ago by Mick himself.

I hope he is. He is the best cutsman I've ever seen. He honestly sets the bar for cutsman. He is the Floyd Mayweather of cutsman. The only cutsman I've ever seen and thought he is doing a good job in cleaning the fighter up and stopping the blood flow.

There is some shocklingly bad cutsman around. I know its not the easiest job but some are poor or just dont know wot there doin. The guy working on jones cut the other week didnt even put any grease on it and i reckon vitali wouldnt have been stopped had williamson been in his corner.

Oscar Larios' cutman in the second fight with Wayne McCullough did an amazing job.

But yes Williamson is very good at his job.

The great man in question is Benny "the Bandit" King.

He kept Craig Docherty in the fight against Abdul Malik Jabir to win the Commonwealth super feather crown. Craig had a horrendous cut from very early on.

He also came to the rescue of a badly bleeding motorist, after coming upon a motorway accident on his way south to a venue. Benny was first on the scene, got his cutsmans kit out and sorted the driver until the paramedics arrived.

did anyone remember the cutman in the juan diaz corner for the campball fight?awful stuff. started rubbing a dry towel in to it (bad to start) added a load of vas that was defintly stone cold, so it was like putty and just fell off. and the swabs were all over the place.

also aryon snowell for tyson douglas doign a 2 handed job. training tyson, looking after tyson, coaching tyson and blowing a condom full of reasonably cold water is my fav example of 2 many pans and only 1 chef.

The cutsman for Bautista was shite!

It does seem like a really easy job, but very few seem to know what they are doing.

Hatton has said a few times that he couldn't get into the ring without Mick Williamson, so it was no surprise to see him present at ringside.

I think he works with Haye as well.

A guy that used to work in my gym worked in the corner for some of the Scott Harrison shows at Brahead. He told me that one of Harrisons opponents corner men once asked him if he had any spare scissors or cotton buds as he had forgot his. Thats thorough planning for you.

Ricky could possibly owe Mick his career. Remember how badly he used to get cut up and how close some fights came to being stopped because of it?

Mick is rated, as you said, as one of the best in the World and I think (correct me if I'm wrong), he's a Manc or at least from Lancs/Ches. I can't see him going anywhere.

EDIT: By the look of Dog's post above, it appears he is a a cheeky Cockerney.
