He's comfortable boxing, WHEN he is allowed to box. When he is forced to box, he doesn't quite look as good.

Depends who the opponent is really.

Up against a Margarito - box.
    Up against a Foreman - pressure/stalk.

I'm going with boxer. Look at how he has always ended up behaving in his biggest fights.

Whenever the word swarmer is mentioned I think of a relentless, bobbing and weaving iron chinned hero that doesn't use the jab as frequently as Miguel.

I aree. I think it's hard for the Mayweather fans to swallow this because he might the first to present the most difficult challenges to Floyd. Could it be the *****s are getting a little worried and they need more reassurance of how good Cotto really is? We know they can't be unsure about it because Floyd is the greatest fighter of all time according to the *****s, but somewhere deep down inside they feel a little nervous about this fight because it could be another Jones/Tarver 2 repeat. :huh There hoping it's another Mayweather/Marquez repeat so they can brag how great Floyd is to the Pacquaio fans and all other boxing fans. We'll find out May 5th.

Tyson in his prime used the Jab frequently and that was to offset the boxers while coming in.

:deal Tho I do think he's underrated as a boxer and overrated as a pressure/powerpuncher.

I'd agree with that statement. He can box beautifully at times. :thumbsup

I think he does both equally well. We haven't seen him pressure as aggressively as he used to (yet!), but he's a textbook boxer-puncher who can use pressure or box laterally.

Cotto relied on his power too much, and walked away with some damage. DLH, Tito, and Sugar Shane all hit harder.

Kelly Pavlik is a pressure fighter, and should stick to that.
