I'll actually be glad to see the back of the pampered little diva. Adios Miguel!

never was a fan of cotto's...he's lucky he's from PR. If he didn't have such a built-in fanbase, he'd have 8 losses on his record. But he got so many gift decisions and so many fights where he got the benefit of the doubt and was allowed to get away with stuff other fighters wouldn't...don't think i'll miss him in the least.

gift decisions against mosley and clottey...hit zab Judah low like 7 times and never even lost a point when he shoulda been DQ'd...routinely came in 15 lbs above the weight class limit as a 140 lber.

I thought Mosley won the fight as well, but it was a close fight nonetheless. Close fights can go either way. The Clottey fight was another very close fight. And Judah has never been on Cotto's level.

There is nothing illegal about cutting weight. In fact, I would say 90% of fighters do it.

Miguel Cotto was once one of the most beloved fighters on this site.

All that changed when he exposed Sergio Martinez. Sergio used to have threads here with hundreds of posters all talking about how much they wanted to blow him. Now they just cry about Cotto and how much they hate him. Some of them are even mods.

don't know what you mean by "Judah has never been on cotto's level"...that makes no sense to me at all. Judah was champ at jww and ww. did you see the fight? Judah came out in the first round and rocked cotto...looked like it was gonna be an early stoppage and cotto hits him low causing Judah to drop to the deck in pain and giving cotto time to recover. second round, same thing happens....cotto landed repeated low blows throughout the fight. I counted about 7. one could argue that had it not been for cotto going low, Judah would ktfo him in the first or second round. it wouldn't have been that far fetched...Corley had cotto practically out on his feet, but Corley was not much of a finisher, whereas zab was wicked when he got you hurt. torres had cotto seriously hurt, dropped him and battered him all over the ring....even paulie malignaggi, a soft puncher, had cotto wobbled late in their fight. one thing Judah had was speed, quickness and power...and he knew how to put a guy away with beautiful combos. he'd have laid cotto out if the ref hadn't been so lax about letting Miguel go low...I don't blame cotto so much as I blame the ref, though.

if cotto had been from a different country, say, yemen, he'd have losses to shane, clottey, margarita (questionable), pac, Floyd, trout, canelo and Judah (dq)....although it's possible some of those fights wouldn't have happened because he wouldn't have ever risen to that championship level... he'd be more of a Antonio diaz or maybe collazzo type, a level above clubfighter but not a standout.

Sergio was exposed by father time and disabilitys. Prime he reverses the result earlier, probably with 1 shot !

Look, I was a HUGE Zab Judah fan. Not once have I ever rooted against him, but Cotto is on another level.

Cotto is a 4 division Champion, 140, 147, 154, 160. Judah was never able to accomplish anything like that. Judah's best win is against Cory Spinks imo, who got his champion status from a gift decision against Ricardo Mayorga.

Judah was mentally weak and one dimensional. There was nothing else to his boxing than speed and power. Cotto is multi-dimensional, he can pressure, he can slug, he attacks the body, he can box on his toes, and has a hell of a jab.

Judah lost to 3 Cotto victims, and if you consider the Spinks-Mayorga fight a robbery as I do then you can say Judah only became WW champion because of corruption robbed another Cotto victim.

Judha shoulda, woulda, coulda aganst Cotto, but the reality is he didn't, and he never reached the levels of Cotto.

    Cotto> Judah

    Yes, of course.
