This is said over and over...a fighter being afraid of another fighter in the fight game? When I fought back in the day the first fight was making weight and then the fight it self. My point, when I was not training, I would not be afraid to fight anyone in the ring including HW when I was a WW. Your trained not to fear anyone. The saying from some of my former trainers..."He puts on his pants one leg at a time just like you". Fear is obsolete in the fight game.

 

I don't believe anyone actually brags about his power tbh. I don't recognize him as a 1 hit k.o artist. But I do recognize him as a k.o artist... if that made sense xD. I mean, yeah his body shots are devastating, but usually he sets you up for it. It just doesn't come out of the blue.

Williams drops to 147 easier than Cotto, Mago, Clottey, and most others. He is only fighting at the higer because at the time, no one would fight him. Rememv=ber how margo fought Shane instead? Remember Cotto took Jennings instead? Remember Floyd was gone? Clottey was game, but HBO killed it.
