Mijares has a date in May set, I have heard unofficial reports that his handlers will be seeking unification against Kirilov, perhaps even a fight in Russia.

Or are we just going to see a Montiel-Mijares 115 mega showdown in the near future?

I would be ok with either, but why go to Russia when you could have mega fight here?

Hopefully not. I like Kirilov and I don't want to see a good Russian fighter with a huge heart get destroyed. He gets hit too much against B and C levels.. against Mijares he could get damaged very badly. Even though Kirilov beat Navarro (by a tiny margin), I think Mijares would have an easier time with him than Navarro, because of how horrible Mijares' style is to Kirilov compared to Navarro. Also, Navarro got up 100% for that Mijares fight and threw an insane amount of punches, I don't think he was as up for the Kirilov fight in Russia.

Mijares-Montiel needs to happen. I think Montiel would be the odds favorite too. :D

I don't seem to remember any tiny margin against Navarro.

Two judges scored it 114-113. If the flash knockdown didn't happen, the fight would be a draw or maybe even a loss for Kirilov. He definitely deserved the decision though, it wasn't a gift in Moscow.

Montiel or Kirilov next . . . it doesn't matter to me. I want Mijares to fight them both and get all the titles . . . ALexander Munoz included.

Exactly, it's time for him to become unified and then have superfights with Montiel and Donaire.

i instantly became a 'cristian' convert after watching how he made arce look like garbage...

looking forward to him becoming a unified superfly champ and beating the hell out of montiel and donaire..
