Mike Perez beat Jennings, it was a gift decision to preserve Jennings marketability.

    No reason to retire.

Think the mago fight will of took a lot out of him physically and mentally, don't think he'll ever fulfil his potential now, the fighter who fought that night would of blasted Jennings out IMO

Yeah, cuz Jennings was bombing away face first for 12 rds.:patsch:patsch:patsch

I don't want to take anything away from Mago, but ppl were saying he was gonna get hurt with his style for a couple yrs prior to the Perez fight.

Sadly, his chin was better than expected and he took far too much for far too long.

But a fighter like Perez saw that style 100X as an AM, and he was a great AM, which makes you believe he had a gameplan for Mago.

Jennings OTOH, applied smart pressure and fought a perfect fight.

Perez will be around for a long time.....just so happens, so will Jennings.:deal

perez isnt half as good as we thought he was...he doesnt train hard enough either.
will probably make more money if he retires and starts a new career now cause he aint ever getting big paydays consistently if he stays his current course

If he dedicated himself to the sport more, he could do great things.

No one wants to see another Solis.

He's a Cuban heavyweight..... He trains very hard at the local all you can eat buffet. Sometimes He, Solis, and Ortiz will meet up and gorge themselves on food together.

    He's far from finished.

But he needs to get into better shape, and he should be a bit more aggressive in his fights.

...because he drew with Takam and lost close to Jennings?

    Are you really asking this?

He needs to drop 20 lbs and re-dedicate himself to the sport. He has a lot of talent. He would've beaten Jennings had he shown up in shape.
