I'm not accusing Garcia of ducking Lomachenko. We'll have to see how things play out. Lomachenko has been asked who he would like to fight next and Loma responded "Mikey Garcia". Quick, straight to the point, it is what it is. When Garcia is asked that question he's been less than up front. He's very ambiguous with his answers. Maybe trying to keep some leverage and his options open.

On the contrary, Mikey has been very vocal about fighting Lomachenko... But he has also been even more vocal about saying Arum won't make the fight. Sounds like he's just using Loma's name.

This fight needs to happen late next year. Like I've always said this is the best fight in boxing.

Yes, he's being ambiguous about it. Lomachenko is offering no excuses or "way out" for a fight not happening. Garcia has resorted to "Arum won't let Loma fight me". That's Garcia's way out. His fall back if the fight doesn't happen.

I think it will be a money issue if Mikey doesn't take the fight. Arum could low ball him. Imo the split should be 50/50.

You would take this over Spence-Crawford? Or Estrada/Rungvisai-Inoue?

I would love this fight to happen, but I don't think Garcia is waiting around for a fight which could prove difficult to make with all kinds of things regarding catchweights, rehydration clauses, etc. He has a title fight lined up against Lipinets at 140 and if he aims to clean up 140 in the absence of Crawford then that is not a bad move for him.

Yes I would. Spence is the bigger man and a devastating body puncher and he would catch Crawford and slow him down. Also that dog in Crawford which works so well against other fighters would be his undoing against Spence who would get the better of him in the exchanges.

Wow... I see that fight going the EXACT opposite way. I see Crawford destroying Spence and making it look easy... Crawford rehydrated from 140 to 158 in his last fight. He's been draining himself. You will see that Crawford's gonna be a good sized welter.

Probably not. I mean would you be? I don't think he wants that fight unless it's for a very, very good payday.

I dont think that M.Garcia wants to do business with Arum and vice versa. Also Mikey wants money fights and Loma isnt one at least yet i mean Rigon got what 500k ? The bigger money fights are at 147 and Garcia might have to gamble and get up to that weight to get some fights but isnt big and tough enough and will probably most likely get knocked out badly , hes bit chinny.

Broner was perfect fight for Mikey at 140 but who else is there right now at 140 as money fight ? Cant recall any , everyone went up to 147 for the bigger money fights.135 is meh also ,next to no interest for these fighters and fights , Easter JR , Linares etc.Cant make millions from such fights.
