I wouldn't worry about the Green kd. Kessler got caught, got up and did the job in great fashion. You're so biased sometimes...
I was replying with same Logic as was in the post I replied to. I thought that was obvious. The first post you quoted was legit.
Wards punching power is virtually non existent at 168, Ward is never going to knock out a top level fighter at supermiddleweight. Kessler was also knocked down by Green in the first round (at least from what i remember) and thats the worrying thing. He obviously still has some power left to be able to knock Green the **** out with one punch but Weve already seen how Froch's chin holds up to Kesslers punch but it Kessler cant take the hits like he used to then we might see Froch get a revenge victory
well when the guy cant even get through a training session or ends up hurt after a 4 round fight, or loses his vision, then gets his vision back.....nah, he aint very tough by most standards :-(
Depends on how we define "toughness" Kessler's limb's are fragile, but he is tough when he gets into the ring..
Although I do like Kessler I agree with this. Compare his recent performances with the Kessler who fought Calzaghe and it's clear to see he is not nearly as good as he used to be.
I think Kessler is pretty much finished. He never looked the same after his first loss and then since his fight just before the S6 he looked very out of sorts and then Ward showed how far he had gone back, he then struggled to Froch, who is very slow and someone that a prime Kessler wouldnt have had too much of a problem with. I think Kessler won that fight, but it was no easy fight. I think prime Kessler would have beaten Froch in a similar way to how he beat Andrade. I think the best thing for Kessler would be retirement now as I could imagine him losing to quite a few fighters at this time. The way he was put down by A Green was shocking
You're basing this on the Andrade fight, who fights nothing like Froch? Carla might be as slow as a slug, but he's nowhere near as predictable as Andrade is.He's more of a counter puncher than anything else, and a pretty effective one at that.
