I’d put Pulev ahead of Miller.

Not heard much about Owen Beck so looked him up. He lost to someone (who never boxed again) on debut then Wilder took him on in his 23rd fight

He's had a title shot already though. I like to see new guys get shots.

You do realise that Whyte was offered 50/50 in the rematch don’t you?

Hmm 15 years ago is 2004

    WBC
    Stiverne for Wilder
    Arreola for Wilder
    Eric Molina for Wilder
Charr for Vitali: probably about the same level, Miller is better on the eye test resume feels similar
Adamek when he challenged Vitali sort of hinges on how well you rate the Arreola win
Shannon Briggs when he fought Vitali
Johnson was undefeated when he faced Vitali and beat a few used up guys similar to Miller
    Sosnowski when he fought Vitali
Peter Ohkello when he faced Maskaev

So for the WBC I got 6 that I would say are worse with 3 that are a push

    WBA
(tough to do with a regular not really going to count the regular)
Leapai when he fought Klitschko is interesting, he beat undefeated Boystov to earn the win where as Miller ducked Pulev. Leapais wins over Ohkello, Walker, Wilson and Beck dont seem too bad next to Wach, Dinu, Washington, Adamek and Duhappas. I guess its like Jesse Ferguson winning a fight he wasnt supposed to and getting a shot. Miller would kill Leapai head to head

Pianeta vs Klitschko again head to head is worse than Miller but had a similar resume being undefeated going in and beating Botha, McCall, Skelton, as well as undefeated fighters Marrone and Duhapas who is a signature win for Miller

Wach vs Klitschko I mean Miller did beat him but Wach was undefeated like Miller going into his shot and despite a flimsy record was stopping guys left and right

Mormeck is interesting I mean he got killed by Wlad but he was an undisputed or at least unified Cruiser champ and undefeated at the weight before facing Wlad. Would pick Miller to win a head to head fight

    Beck vs Valuev

I dont really count Povetkins reign since he wasnt a real champ even Haye was living in Wlads shadow with a regular title with Wlad being the man who beat Chagaev

5 guys who I think are worse fighters but a few have similar resumes

    IBF
    Molina for Joshua
Breazle would make the list if he didnt go on such a tear after losing to Joshua
Glasgov and Martin fighting for a vacant belt so I'd say a twofer
Klitschko had unified titles so a few above apply here

Besides the Klitschko carry over I put 3 with Breazle being a push

    WBO
Fury vs Parker maybe a push but certainly not better than Miller
Andy Ruiz vs Parker maybe a push probably similar wins, would probably be a decent fight
    Holyfield for Ibragimov

So 3 guys but not far off, Holyfield would probably still give Miller hell

    Conclusion:

While I have maybe over rated some guys when putting them as pushes I think its hyperbole to call Miller the worst. I think some of the "worsts " get overlooked by how badly they lost their fights for the title or how they went on to lose later in their career but have the body of work they piled to get to the shot ignored when in reality Millers resume isnt that good

That said Miller on the eye test in my estimation beats the guys who I said had a similar resume

Your making out like Whyte refused terms because of the 70/30 offer.

    Which is incorrect.

50/50 is so much more than he deserves and he still turned it down.

    Unbelievable

Eddie Hearn suggested to reverse splits in the chisora rematch if whyte lost...

He refused to use his same idea for an AJ rematch with Whyte..

Unbelievable I know... its crazy man

Not even close unfortunately. Wlad fought Pianeta, Lepai, Wach, Mormeck, Brock, McCline, Shufford and Jefferson in title fights though a couple of the latter probably fell outside the fifteen year period.

Vitali fought Charr, Solis, Briggs, Sosnowski, Johnson, Arreola.

Wilder has fought Duhaupus, Molina, Stirverne (2nd fight), Szpila, Washington.

    Haye fought Audley Harrison.

Joshua himself fought Molina and Breazeale before Breazeale had any decent wins really.

Been some woeful challengers. Miller isnt great but is he worse than that lot, maybes on par with a lot and better than some.
