Apperently he is not even returning calls to the UFC which makes one wonder will he even bother fighting out his last fight on his contract?

With 2 straight loses he won't be getting a title shot any time soon and only 1 fight left on the contract it seems would only be a waste of time for a guy who's fire appears to be out. And if he did fight who would it be?

I'd like to see Mirko retire. There's no reason for him to continue.

why? they gave him a tune up, then he fought the #1 contender for a title shot......what else would you have them do? they didn't expect him to get executed by Gonzaga.

I think Fedor said it best. CC is psychologically tired. It comes naturally in athletes after certain point. This was CC. And all this BS about him being in his prime blahblah dont mean **** when your hearts not willing.

i'm not blaming the gonzaga loss, i however am against him fighting a dangeround kongo after that ko loss to gonzaga. they should have given him a tomato can and let him strut his stuff so that the audience will begin to like him against. but no, they matched him with a bigger stronger guy. he lost , now he is done. with not a single marquee match up that should have given the ufc tons of money.

we all know that the ufc expected big things when they got mirko, i know they pride themselves with gicing the best matches possible but an investment that big should have been taken care of more

I'd like to see him give it another go if he can get his mind right. He was not really agressive in his last two fights. He was not busy. That made a difference. But then I am one of the guys that always thought Tyson had something left.

No. The guy just becomes passive mentally. He folds like a cheap suit. He has become the Zab Judah of MMA.

well, apperently he's not done yet and is eyeing a comeback in early 08. And he wants NOG. but he might already be going against Kongo so we'll have to see how that pans out.At least it seems like he has regained some interest at least.
