To be honest... I see Couture winning a rather easy, lop sided decision against Nog. However... I see this fight against Lesnar as being much more troubling for Couture. Another year older... more than a year layoff... was rehabing an broken arm through half of that layoff... I am a bit scared.

No. Its not getting boring. You're just a Pride nuthugger still hurting and bawling over Pride going down the shitter. Get over it.

Why dont you re read the thread and evaluate it a bit more? My beef is the lack of choice depth style variation. The same meal every day gets boring. The UFC is all there is. I prefer variation. Obviously you do not.

For me personally yeah it is getting boring. I haven't been truly into a "new" UFC since UFC 57 that was the last real good one for me perosnally-I deffinatly think to each their own. And that was I after I discovered teh UFC again, after it got it's television deal and I had come to the realization that UFC had been still been going on since like the first pay-per-veiw, when it came out. Now I am just rambling, this is all imo so. Now I will give honorable mentions to the one UFC- I think it was called "Bad Intention" with A. Silva vs. Franklin and Tim Sylvia vs. Monson, and 81 the one with Brock and Mir.

How anybody can be bored with MMA right now, when the fighters are the best they have ever been, is beyond me.

Acting like its just the UFC is wrong, hdnet puts on tons of fights, even if you don't get the HDnet you can watch them online, there are more divisions on display than ever, we actually get to watch guys like Miguel Torres, Urijah Faber, Imanari, Maeda, and so many others fighting, and fighting at their proper weight, and fighting on TV, that was a pipe dream 5 years ago.

this thread just reaks of pouting and sentimental whining.

Today's Noguera I'm not sure. He's been on the downslope IMHO. What about 2004 Noguera? You think Couture handles him easy?

Just hours away from Couture vs Lesnar - it's hard to say that MMA is boring. Sure I miss Pride as much as anyone - but the remnants of the org are still around. We still have some great fights on the horizon with the third Rampage/Wanderlai match as well as the best superfight of the year with GSP vs Penn II.

I thoroughly enjoyed every single fight on the card on Saturday,I think every fight was exciting - stand up wars,JJ masterclasses - I know this thread was not aimed at any particular card/org but if anyone can watch last wekends event and think MMA is boring I would suggest they may be watching the wrong sport.
