Is MMA the most difficult sport to become proficient in?

    It stands to reason that having to gain proficiency in multiple disciplines places MMA in a category of it own where difficulty is concerned.

    Hard to say with certainly, you need to attain proficiency in multiple disciplines like you stated but mastery in any one of them is not a requirement.

    IMO no - modern pentathalon athletes are the top in terms of multi discipline sport mastery.

    Pentathaletes have my respect, but unlike MMA practitioners, they don't have to worry about someone trying to knock their block off or disjoint their arm.
