Tbf, I wouldn't have Perez on there either. However, I see your point. Perhaps I'll reconsider when everything is said and done.

Yeah, but that doesn't change the fact that Choco, the guy you call an ATG, ducked Inoue.

    ;)

top 100 across the board? no. im sure he would make the list at specific weights, though. i think in 2 years bam takes him out. fill out to his 25yo frame so size isnt an issue, and he finishes what old nonito couldnt.

It's good that Bam realizes that he looked stupid when he said a year ago that he'd KO Inoue in a single round and he and his team have kept Inoue's name out of their mouths since then. In 2 years, it will be more competitive, but Inoue will drop him and stop him as Inoue is STILL improving despite already looking like a master boxer for years.

this is what some of the educated eyes are saying about bam. pretty much what you saw me say before he fought rung, and before he fought cuadras. now im telling you hes gonna one day beat inoue. i hope he does it when inoue is in his 30s, up at 122. so we can say he was past it...cause i really like inoue.

Jofre-Legra was not a robbery. At the time, even the Spanish journalists and commentators thought he lost. Also, Jofre didn’t retire to stop a rematch. Katzenelson actually reached out to Legra to offer him a rematch but Legra turned it down. He retired before Jofre did also.

Getting stopped on cuts in a fight you're winning against an all-time great is getting brutally KOed?

Wrong fight series, but it's difficult to tell which when he lost in his prime so many times. Harrera and Arguello both KOd him, you're referring to yet another BW who stopped him in his prime. He lost a fight on cuts, won the title back and two more title fights (3 total), was KOd, won a title again and was KOd yet again four months later.

    Great Post.

Gotta say that I find it funny as hell that people can be dim enough, when comparing fighters from eras that were decades apart, to talk about how the modern guy has beaten more world champions...

Of course he has you silly *******s, everybody and their mother is a world champion these days.

I think this is a discussion that is better to have at the end of his career.

Jofre, was was never stopped in 78 fights, is getting KO’d every time by a guy who only stopped a near 40 year old Donaire 50% of the time and that one time was clearly damaged goods?
    Nah.
