Is Mora even a step-up from Stevie Forbes?

He's certainly carrying a bigger frame, and the upset vs Forrest was impressive, but amongst the hardcore fight fans AND the general public, is Mora a more important, and thus, more PPV-worthy fight than Forbes was? I'm not even bashing Oscar here, just discussion, but it looks a bit flaky for Oscar and Shaeffer to give the impression they aren't interested in a fight with Margarito because they don't want Mexicans booing Oscar in his last fight, but then sign on to fight the "Latin Snake."

I know PPV = $, but I sincerely wish if this is going to be Oscar's last fight, and he isn't able to secure a marquee opponent, they would do this on regular HBO.

Sergio Mora would beat De La Hoya. Naturally bigger and high workrate.

In terms of PPV, it's a slight step up from Forbes, but not exactly fitting end to career such as his. Although gettting sparked by Margarito in a bigger fight would be worse.

I don't think it is a step up, it is what I expect from OScar though, going after the weakest champ in a division. typical.

Yes he is but he is not dangerous at all,I think Oscar can outbox him or even go toe to toe with him and pick him apart but it won't happen cuz Mora loves to ride the bike

At least Mora is oscar's size. Its a sensible opponent for Gay la Hoya. We all know Oscar doesn't want to get a serious beating his last fight. Hell, little Stevie Forbes had Oscar's face all beat to hell, imagine what Margarito would do.

The man is an American, he was born in LA and yes Margo is an American by birth to, even if he wants to ignore that.

This is similar to the Forbes fight if not A BIT, just A BIT, better. A fight with Mora is not PPV material.

    It's a step up.

If Mora beats forrest, and an undefeated Sergio Mora fights Oscar De La Hoya, I think you guys will be EXTREMELY surprised at the PPV #s this will get...I'm talking 750k+

Yeah, well, duh. That was pretty much the entire point of my post, genius. Called reading comprehension, look into it.

Forbes wasn't a PPV-worthy fight and neither is Mora.

It would be sold on the fact that Forrest beat Sugar Shane twice, who in turn beat Oscar twice (perhaps anyway)

If Forbes is not a PPV-worthy fighter, what has Mora done to prove himself as one? If I knew English was your third language I might take it a little easier on you. Hopefully that's the case?
