the man is too macho for his own good. i think he left a little bit of himself in the ring against margarito-and we ll see it in this fight. i hope its shanes last fight if he loses. if he loses in o fashion-then maybe 1 more. poor guy has given alot to boxing-but it takes more always.
Maybe to you, but not to me. Let's see what happens in a year or two. I watched an interview of Riddick Bowe on ESPN before the second Golota fight. He was in training and he stopped by. He was speaking gibberish and you couldn't understand what he was saying. He was still quick-minded, but the speech was muffled. I remember watching an interview of Norris on ESPN before he fought Dana Rosenblatt you clould see in Norris' eyes that he was not right. Now he's toast. Mosely just doesn't look right. He put up a great performance in his last fight, but a year can make a difference. He is not talking the way he used to. I just hope, for his sake, that this will be his last fight. He may have already had one too many.
You can see it in the Face-Off video. His face looks soft and mushy and he definitely had a hard time putting his words together at the press conferences. I think he will give it his all but this fight will resemble Pac/Oscar where you have one guy teeing off and the other can't pull the trigger anymore.
yea shane does sound a little punch but that doesn't mean he can't lead a normal life...his speech will be slurred but if he retires after this fight (if he loses)...i think he'll be fine
I hope you guys are wrong. But lets face it, I've been hearing these criticisms about Mosley for years now. He's too old, hes taken too many punishment, etc. I remember people picking Cotto to eventaully walk down Mosley and stop him and we all saw what happened and that was 3 years ago. He outfought Cotto (although dropped the decisioni), a bigger Mayorga, and Margarito in his last 3. Its too early to say anything about how he'll look.
He sounded normal to me. He even caught Floyd in a lie when he confronted Shane in a locker room saying he wanted to be like Shane years ago. :rofl
i agree. he sounds fine. i think his health issues are exaggerated. we heard pac was having trouble with shawn porter in camp and looked damn good against cotto. i don't think he will win against pbf but he will more cometitive than dlh. pbf is also older.

I don't think this is going to be competitive. Shane is game, and I see him taking a beating. A sad, sad beating at that.
People are going over the top with this slurring thing regarding Shane. From what I remember, he's always spoken like that. Dude will be fine when he retires.
