    This.

If Mayweather beats Mosley, all props.
You wont see me coming here saying Mosley was past is prime (which is true), because he is still a very live opponent.

Mayweather is not exactly a youngster either. He'll be 33 come fight time.

    HELL THE **** NO!

    Mosley has slowed down considerably.

Mosley is still a very good fighter, and him being on top today says more about the lack of quality over Mosley's ability.

    Mosley 2000 KO Mosley 2010 in 7rds

Exactly. The fighters today don't measure up to prime Hoya, Mosley, Tito, Wright, Vargas, Quartey.

The mid to late 90's was a fantastic era in boxing. :good

Today you have guys like Margarito being WW #1. :think Hell, Gatti was more skilled, and had just as hard a chin than Margarito, and he was easily beaten to a pulp by a prime DLH.

    He's no way near prime!
His legs are gone. He can fight fine against someone who wants to stand there like a dope, come forward and block punches with his face... but anyone who can move will beat Shane.

Anyone who thinks Shane is in his prime, has not followed his career. With that being said, I think he still beats EVERYONE at 147 today except Floyd. He would lose a decision

    I think Mosely is shot.

    He looked bad against Mayorga.

He beat Margarito, mostly by hitting and holding.

i hear what you are saying. he's not prime but that don't mean he's a shot fighter. the fact that margo was actually stopped suggests that mosely did more hitting than holding. if it were the other way around margo would have seen the final bell.

no. against a margarito he'll look like a 10, against most elite competition that aren't cheating, walking punching bag, douches, he'll look a 7
