Is Mosley's choice of opponent sign that he's given up

Give it a rest headbanger everyone knows he cheated so did RJJ and Toney so you don't have to bring it up everytime. Their accomplishments remain until it's proven that they cheated every fight of their careers. Give their due man.

 

Mora had trouble making 154 because he is a natural middleweight. The two Forest fights were his only fights at 154. Neither guy is at his optimal weight for this one.

This is why it's actually a bit more of a challenge for Shane than a lot of people might think.

He looks great against boxers who try to get cute with him and don't have the power to hold him off or the speed to make him look as bad as Mayweather did (ie Collazo) or plodders he can counter at will (old Vargas, Margarito) - but throw anything awkward his way and he'll have trouble. Look at what happened against Mayorga - whatever else he may be, he's unorthodox.

 

Mosley only fought 4 months ago, this is a stay busy fight after a loss. Another thing....Mora once whopped the guys ass who whooped shanes ass twice. (Forrest)

I don't think Forrest whooped Shane's ass in the second fight but he clearly won it in a good,underrated scrap with some good exchanges. I'll rewatch it but I never classified it as an "ass kicking".

 

It's really funny how many people jump on you when you show that you don't know much about a sport, as though it's something you should be ashamed of.

Really hope Shane wins this one as then there's a chance he might fight Pac.

 

You could try putting forth even the smallest modicum of effort into independent research before intimating that Mora might be a bum or a sign of Mosley giving up in his selection as an opponent. That's probably a good way to avoid getting jumped on. :good

Yes, but even by asking the question in the thread title you're displaying an uninformed opinion. As someone else said, there is plenty of footage available on Youtube as well as several articles on Mora by esteemed publications and writers that you could look into rather than just going by what "some people say" on a forum.

 

He beat Vernon Forrest, who beat Mosley twice. He's not a bum by any means and he has a good chance of beating Mosley.
