    Ali's KO ratio was
So if Ali's KO ratio was 49% it would be "below average"?

now tell me, how does this tie in with your theory that gravity increases punching speed?
and boxers dont fight from different planets, so how does gravity make a taller fighters punches so much more powerful that you would use it as a point to defend your dumbassery?

No, to determine if alis 61% ko rate was "average" youd need to add up ALL heavyweights in history and find the mean and median and see how it stacks up.

If at least 50% of all heavies have a 61% ko rate, hed be average.

Either way, theres a big difference between "average" and "feather fisted". Ive sparred with many people from multiple weight classes theres a lot of room in between.

Pernell Whitaker, Niccolino Locche, Tommy Loughran, Willie Pep. These guys were ATG champions and their KO% was in the 5%-10% range. Ali had a respectable 60% showing he did indeed have above average power.

Gravity pulls straight down. Not diagonally down which is the direction the punch would be traveling...****ing idiot.

This is true regardless of what the most avid Ali fan will say. The ko's over Foreman and Bonavena (Ali's two most celebrated ko's) would never happen again in subsequent rematches.

Ali didn't rely on power to stop people. He could cut them up with his jab alone and get a stoppage. The fact that he didn't have big power yet scored the only knockouts over Foreman and Bonavena is just a testament to his skill level. If the term "he would find a way" applies to anyone it would be him.
