He showed that he belongs in the top 5 P4P, but this win doesn't make him #1 lol

At least this fight showed that he can fight through adversity and can take a hit.

Takuma lost, so he will probably stay in BW and go after Oubaali and Tete.

Or maybe Donaire wasn’t as past it as everyone thought?

Inoue would beat both IMO. Hopefully they happen soon.

Exactly, That's another reason Canelo should be #1 let's see Naoya jump to 130 and beat Berchelt, than we can talk.

Tete couldn't beat Narvaez convincingly lol. Nery however, possibly. But I don't think he could've just purely bulldozed Donaire. Donaire showed today it takes more than just strength and power. Nery is also a questionable roider, and may move weight soon.

Berchelt is prime, Kovalev is shot to sh!t. Beating Berchelt for Inoue would equal beating Beterbiev for Canelo

Donaire was a step in the right direction. But if not for Burnett having an usual injury, Donaire wouldn't have any big wins in years.

Did Nonito look washed up his last 2 fights?

Well he's already done 3 weights (from 108). Canelo's resume is stronger, but controversial. I see Inoue as a 126lber pretty soon tbh.

Nery has also very questionable chin. Some of the punches that Nonito landed against Inoue today would likely laid Nery out cold

I wouldn't rule out Sor Rungvisai or Estrada either.

Donaire smashed his body with a beautiful right, which also lead to the freak injury later. I agree that things could've changed, but retrospectively, I think Donaire would've took over.
