I'll put it to you like this, if Inoue was naturally in the same weight class as these other P4P fighters, I don't see anyone with the exception of Ennis, Loma, Shakur, Canelo, and GGG having a chance against him. I think he would stop Crawford, Spence, Jermell, Haney, and Grevonta. If Inoue is overrated, so is Crawford (who is ranked higher than he should be even though Inoue has the better win).

I wanna see him against better competition. I actually thought he was gonna steamroll Donaire the first time around and fully anticipated the outcome of the rematch.

Since we’re already talking about him I would like to just add that the man has insane power. I can’t believe a small, girly looking guy like him is so heavy handed

Inoue's resume gets called weak. It isn't. It's just that he's so good, he makes his opponents look bad.

he is rated as the best at his weight by far.
what more can a boxer ask for?

oh yes, the bs known as " pound for pound ' '
absolute not real category at all
    pure fantasy
that some boxing fans & media like to argue

Donaire was old, but like Pac, Marquez, and Floyd, he was still performing at the elite level especially after he dropped back down to 118. Leading up to the first Inoue fight and after, Donaire authored 4 dominant performances with highlight reel KOs. Donaire was the CLEAR #2 guy in the division. Also, a prime P4P version of Donaire couldn't do anything with Omar Narvaez. A green 8-0 Inoue destroyed Narvaez who went on an unbeaten run after Donaire.

Inoue destroyed the #1 in 3 divisions and was blatantly ducked by Roman Gonzalez. Cuadras, Rungvisai, and Estrada wanted no part of him either and became obsessed with one another tying up their careers.

Inoue will destroy Fulton and/or Ahkmadaliev and will be undisputed in 2 weight classes by end of 2023.

If Inoue were the same size as Ennis, Loma, Shakur, Canelo, and GGG, he'd destroy them.

He’s probably underrated overall, very good fighter, a skill set to match anyone at the moment and reasonable power to boot.

Like nearly every very notable boxer, some overrate him and others underrate him.

It's the same for Pac, Floyd, GGG, Canelo etc.

This ^^. It's why discussions on who's overrated or underrated are pointless

Donaire unlike those fighters had already lost numerous times to Walters, Frampton, Magdaleno, Rigondeaux, in pretty convincing fashion and was in his late 30s when he fought Inoue, and whilst Donare was still a good fighter. It's not like Inoue was facing the prime version of Donaire when he was P4P and scoring scary KO's over Darchinyan, Montiel. The point i'm making is the aura had gone from Donaire and he was at the end of his career. Now i'm not saying Inoue wouldn't beat a prime Donaire, but again we have to look at the context when looking at Inoue's win over Donaire.

Also Narvaez fought to survive against Donaire and lost 12-0.

If he does all that then all props to him like i said i like him as a fighter, and want to see him succeed. But for me he's still yet to really have that standout win, although he has plenty of solid wins no doubt.

I wanted to see him against Casimero as well as the Cas/Donaire missed fight.
