Is Inoue a generational talent???

  1. Yes, without a doubt!

  2. No, he's very, very good, though!

The time between Inoue's fights is unbearable (May 18 seems a lifetime away) and he's doing amazing things against world class opponents. Even a hater couldn't possibly make any kind of argument for him being a hype job.

Inoue kind of looks basic, but the subtlety of his game is breathtaking. His movements are very calculated and precise and his punch selection is like a Michelin-rated sushi chef selecting the day's fish at the world famous Tsujiki Market.

Oh, and the still-improving-not-even-prime-yet Inoue might very well be the hardest puncher in boxing.

Are we looking at a generational talent a la Manny/Floyd/Lomachenko???

I think so. Depends on how he deals with Donaire to put him with them 3, should he do it in 6 rounds or so, I'd say definitely yes. But if not I'd put him a slight tier below.

I believe that he's gonna smoke Manny Rodriguez in sensational fashion.

Inoue is definitely NOT more talented than Lomachenko. Inoue doesn't have otherworldly athleticism like Lomachenko. He's equal in skill though, but obviously applies it in a different manner. Not flashy, but more devastating.

We'll know for sure by the end of the final.

My only concern with this guy is his brittle hands. If he keeps his hands healthy throughout his career, he's going to be terrorizing the lower divisions.

Looks it through the eye test but there’s levels to this game. Remember when everyone though GGG would best hagler and a prime Hopkins? You tend to pass the eye test when fighting at a lower level.

Donaire will be a very good point or reference for just how good this guy is.

He looks like a young Pac but much more refined as Pac was wild back then. The power is not too dissimilar.

Can he take that up to FW which has been the lowest money mainstream division?
