I couldnt stand him when he was fighting. When MAB beat him, it was one of the best boxing moments for me as a fan. But, all that said, his resume was stellar. I look at a great fighter like Tszyus resume, and if im being honest, Hameds was at least as good, arguably better. It seems that over time his legacy has diminished, I think. Maybe because our last memory of him in the ring was a loss to Marco, but he had some exciting wins over some class opponents. Kelly, McCoullough, Vasquez, Sanchez, Medina, all very good top fighters. I do feel that Hamed was managed very well, but he did well for himself. Maybe if he was a humble guy back then, he would be reguarded more highly today.

Yeah I don't hear enough about him from casual fans to really talk for them. I was just assuming he was like Tyson was

Not true. There were countless NON boxing fans as well casual fans that were awed by Hamed's showy entrances, unintended/intended tounge in cheek antics, and surreal punching power and unorthodoxy. Not everybody is blind and ******ed. Hamed is one of the most gifted pure athletes of any kind ever.

I have met him and he is a fat little arrogant goon.........I dont know how he isnt in prison for nearly killing that guy in his SLR. As a boxer, he threw punches from good angles, I will give him that.

good fighter. MOrales, Barrera, JMM are all a few levels ahead of him and IMO would all have beatin Hamed soundly. Whats his best win Kevin Kelley? I respect that he came to tha states and fought Barrera, but after his first lost he pretty much quit? I would have liked to see him take more challenges even after he lost. Britts will use tha excuse that he was past his prime against Barrera, and didn't train but whatever

You should have told him that. But you would have gotten KTFO. Son.

Given the hangers on........ sure I would have got shot or stabbed. However, as I'm an entire foot bigger I doubt he would have KO'd me in his current shape, unless its a cheap shot. But we will never know. Either way, the comment remains true.
