He's certainly very rough at a minimum. He's had a lot of points deducted over his career for a number of different reasons but predominantly his persistent shoving and occasionally body-slamming opponents to the canvas. He kicks, shoves, grabs, and does a lot of moves you wouldn't find in the boxing rulebook. Do you consider Nick Ball a dirty fighter?
I love his style because he make a lot of pressure on his opponent and it's very entertainment. But he is a bit disrespectful in the ring yes remember me Yoka or Elie Konki for us.
Nick ball is a fighter where its a joy to watch every second of the fight . Dirty or not , he is at least not boring !!!
Well bro I prefer (and French like that in general) someone who is respectful this is why Yoka is in England actually. In France we prefer someone who is respectful that someone who is a dirty fighter. Most of the French don't know or don't watch some boxers like Rafael Espinoza too. Even Espinoza is actually the best in Featherweight..
I'm sure Mike Tyson was popular among boxing fans in every country, including France, and he was among the absolute dirtiest boxers in history.
Yes but he is special very special one. Because at his prime he was a model for many boxers. Only Mike Tyson is a special case the others not at all.
He is a proper street fighter and yes he is defo on the dirty side IMO. The kicking was horrendous from him. If it had been Doheny kicking Ball - it would have either been a 2 point deduction or a DSQ, but hey ho - these judges need to keep making money and be selected for these fights.
Doheny had him in a headlock and refused to let go even after the bell sounded. Ball retaliated by kicking him. He should be deducted a point, but it's not dirty. Doheny should have let go instead of locking Ball's head in tighter.
He is likely to come up against someone who can dish it out better like Mayweather did to Hatton. Let’s hope he is not complaining when it happens.
The only dirty thing I've really noticed him doing is being rough with the pushing and throwing opponents down. The kick was obviously dirty but, as I've explained, it was a retaliatory heat of the moment thing where TJ had him in a headlock and would not let go. TJ was intentionally holding him there for as long as he could get away with doing so not just merely just doing it briefly before letting him go. That's the kind of thing which will make anyone see red and lose their cool. So whilst it was wrong and the ref should've deducted a point from Ball it's not like there wasn't a lot of provocation in that particular instance and TJ had clearly gone in there with the intention of trying to get under his skin and wind him up. I certainly consider fighters whose styles literally revolve around the excessive use of dirty and illegal tactics and intentionally billy goat butt, elbow, punch low etc all night. in a worse light than those who do something dirty after seeing red and snapping in response to provocation. That being said when a fighter doesn't have a reputation for being dirty you can miss the less overt dirty things they do if you're not looking out for it And of course if you're from the US you can literally foul the crap out of your opponents with impunity all night and it's deemed ''veteran tactics'' but when others do the same or often much less it's OMG!! what a filthy dirty cheating disgrace revoke their licence ASAP
I'd describe him as a rough fighter for sure with the shoving and throws. But I wouldn't call him really dirty, he doesn't headbutt, throw intentional low blows or throw elbows.
