I'm okay with a no.1 moving up and challenging another no. 1 in a higher division. There's a fresh intrigue in that.

Little doubt in my mind that Arum was simply trying to keep Rigo undefeated until Donaire moves up. When fighters openly avoid names it is usually on direct orders. After his last fight I think Arum sees the vulnerability in Rigo's chin and took the muzzle off of Donaire.
