I'll say he has some pop to hurt any hw, but mostly his speed is the one that does the damage, and yes Haye was out and Solis took his punch right on the botton and was staggered, Haye didn't protest that much for such an important fight.
Solis has decent power but I wouldn't call him a power puncher. His body shots look devastating at times.
Barrett was also a short-notice replacement for Solis and looked like he didn't want to be there during the ring walk and preliminary festivities (I was there live at the MSG annex and fairly close to the ring) - whereas he really, really got up for his retirement bout against Tua. You can't really draw a direct comparison between the two. Tua still hits much, much, much harder than Solis.
Barret says otherwise, and he is the one who has been in the ring with both...unless you had done some sparring with solis and tua, wich i doubt.
You never told me any of that, BE. Cripes, you'd think we've talked enough times that these things would have come up. :huh
