As a dane I naturally follow the only real quality fighter i Denmark, Mikkel Kessler. And I am growing more and more impatient with him and Team Palles inability to make him a match after the Calzaghe loss.

I mean is it enough to box one match a year to stay on top? I don't think so.

And sure he should get some kind of championship fight, but there seems to be none availible at the moment, so take a fight against a known fighter in the meanwhile. Miranda for example.

It bothers me, that a fighter in his prime will only fight once or twice a year. It cannot possibly take that long to rehabilitate after a match. Take fellow dane Mads Larsen. He has fougth, I believe, five times since his comeback last year. I know the quality of his opponents have not been the same as Andrade and Calzaghe, but still. He has kept himself busy, and in doing so, has kept himself in the media.

If Kessler does not fight on a more regular basis I fear that his name will fade, and that it will get harder and harder to get name opponents.

Once a name is made, the cash is what really motivates and it runs through the TV Stations which will give out a lot normally 2 times max per year !

    That's why....

    But 1 0r 2 fights a year is obviously a bad joke !
