I think that Salido is Gamoa's best win to date. That said have you seen Salido-Guerrero. I know that Salido was caught with some PED after the fight

Marquez beat a better version of Salido, AND didn't get dropped by him. :deal

a past prime Salido beating JuanMa just tells you how much of a hypejob J.LO was/is. :deal :deal

As for the thread, yea this is definetly Gamboa's best win to date.

Salido didn't have the experience (he was 23 years old) that he has now or when he fought Gamboa, and yes Marquez didn't got dropped by Salido, but did he drop him or KO like Gamboa did even though his own stupidity -Gamboa- deprived him of the KO?

Marquez didnt have the big speed, and power advantages Gamboa had over him tho. Not too mention Marquez himself was much older and was coming off from a intense war with Pacquiao. Plus, Marquez managed to stay cool throughout the entire fight without getting reckless.

And remember, Salido started his career at 15...he had a good 7 or 8 years as a pro by the time he faced Juan. Underrated win for both guys, no arguing that.

Yep. Gamboa's best win though Marquez might have handled him easier(didn't see the fight and a big "how dare you!" for anyone calling a Marquez fight boring). Not Marquez best win(I count all his fights with Pacq as victories and he definitely got robbed againt John I rewatched it last night and scored it for the first time). May scrap Marquez' top 5 wins but I do agree Salido is underrated and a good win for JMM & Gamboa.

its kinda under rated . everyone agrees 4 the most part that it was a really good win for gamboa and his best win . after salido knocked out JML the value of that win for gamboa went up drastically . if salido once again beats JML which i think he will . i want to to see a rematch with gamboa and salido

    Not for me no !!!

Gamboa failed to impress but controlled the fight , it was a solid win against a solid opponent , nothing more

I feel Salido mania will dwindle after the Juanma rematch

Going back to the fight , Salido done nothing to suggest he was in there to actually go and beat Gamboa , and Gamboa was far from his best , it was a dull affair , props to Gamboa for giving Salido virtually nohing , but i dont rate this as an " under rated win "

Dude, wtf are you talking about? Salido is in his prime NOW, not before. Everyone who knows him, including himself, said that the fight he prepared the most for and was in better shape was for Gamboa. When he fought Marquez he was far from being as good as he is now. And your first paragraph makes no sense at all, that's exactly the point.
