We just calling out on the *******'s ignorance, trolling, and bull****...:good You guys come to a thread, don't know **** about the subject, claim a fighter isn't ATG yet in other threads you guys claim Pac to be in the top 20 ffs...just calling you out on your bull****.
Exactly, that's something I've always said. The guys that fade to the background of dlh's resume are considered the best names on other fighter's resume. Of the fighters DLH lost to it's his name that is their best win.
So I say Oscar is top 30 based on resume. You say he's lucky to cut it at 80. I then say, show me 80 fighters better than DLH. You then show me 70, and say 80 was a typo and you meant he was 71 with a numbered list....GTFO. atsch
You guys? So is it fare to call you a butt hurt Mexican then? Alright then. A lot of assumptions and generalizations in those 2 sentences. For a person who seems to want to elevate the discussion to a more honest and accurate one, you are constantly bring it to the trash. For an admin you do disservice to your site and boxing in general.
I know what you mean , I wouldnt waste my time with him , he clearly has an agenda. I just wouldnt interact with him , you will only get involved in a stupid argument over who has the bigger keyboard.
Exactly. I mean I understand he is a Mexican fan of ODLH. Understood. But they way he argues you think I spat on the Mexican flag and **** OLDH's wife. I mean he should search my postings and I have consistently praised ODLH - even arguing that without ODLH, Pac and PBF would not be the mainstream success they are now. ODLH made them PPV stars. But if I said he is not in my theoretical top 50 ATG list he gets all personal and thin skinned. going ethnic (which is absurd since I do not know where he gets the idea I am Pinoy and last I checked Pac does decent in Europe and Latin America also).
Top 30 is a real stretch, and puts far too much stock in the number of fragmented titles that inflate his resume. When you strip away the titles and view his record against against the great and near-great, it doesn't bear comparison to the true legends of the sport. HOF without doubt, but the lack of career-defining wins hurts his overall legacy.
Oscar is an ATG. No, not at the top, but he was damn good but was fuked in 2 of his major fights due to judging. Oscar was a rare fighter and there probably won't be another one like him in our lifetime.
I really miss him fighting. His fights were like Christmas to me. Friends would all go out to a bar back in the town I grew up and we'd watch the under-cards while we started partying. Once Oscar would fight the place would be packed, most of the people wanting Oscar to lose but a few of us loyal fans were always there. We'd hit the clubs after and I'd rush home after to read all the updates on the internet from the fight. Those were great days. I've seen all of his fights and some of his amateur ones. I have all of his Olympic fights and first 40 pro fights on VHS that i need to copy to DVD. I missed his Mayorga fight though which I regret. I was nervous for Oscar in that one with his layoff and Mayorga being a wrecking maching. I remember getting home from a club at 4am and rushing to the computer to see who won and remember reading "Oscar destroys Mayorga in 6"
